How to Post an appeal?
To post your appeal, click on the "Post Thread" button in the appeals sub forum to be taken to the form outlined below.
What type of punishment are you appealing? : Check the box that corresponds to your punishment. Note that a silence is when you are both muted and gagged.
What is the applicable ID? : List your Discord ID which should look something like "Jim#6249" for a discord punishment or your SteamID for all other kinds of punishments. Please try to use the converted form of SteamIDs, which is set in a format like this one: "STEAM_0:1:110829797". The other formats (SteamID32, SteamID64) are not the ones used in sourcebans, so using the proper format makes appeals faster to resolve.
You can get the correct SteamID by going to websites such as https://findsteamid.com which do the conversions for you.
Who were you punished by? : List the name of the admin who punished you. If you are not sure or don't know, just leave the question marked as "Unknown".
Why should we grant your appeal? : This is where you want to convince the admin who punished you to either reduce or rescind the punishment entirely. Reasons can be anything but most admins will not consider unreasonable answers like "My brother did it" or "I don't know". Do know that if you know what you did, you can apologize and appeal saying you regret your mistake and will avoid improper behavior in the future. Note that this appeal reason will almost never be considered for repeat offenders. Also know that being rude or hostile towards the admin team will negatively impact your appeal acceptance chance.
Additional Info: Post anything additional you think is important for the appeal to be processed most effectively.
