Before moving to pc gaming, about 2-3 years ago, I've been involved in mobile fps esports games like: Critical Ops, Standoff 2, PUBGM and MMO's like WoT Blitz. I have been in top tier teams in Standoff2/C Ops and was moderating and coaching in the biggest discord servers intended to create community tournaments and matchmaking. After quitting mobile gaming due to lack of interest and the pull factor towards something bigger, I have moved to PC gaming where over the years I have got a chance to be Co-owning a small CSGO trading discord server where the goal was to create a humble environment for people to socialise and trade.
List the IPs / Servers you normally play Usually, the Cutiepie servers I mostly spend my time on are the UK and GER trade_plaza_2 servers, as well as Hightower and 2Fort servers.
Why are you applying for admin? I always liked to manage and improve the place that is important to me, to also support people and help them with their problems. After spending quite some time on the Cutiepie servers, I also wanted to help improve and brighten the atmosphere so everyone would have an enjoyable playtime. Either, I find it indispensable that a member of staff is actively engaging with its community of players and looking after their servers to create a auspicious environment by reforming or getting rid of the players who don't comply with the rules and/or behave inadequately, also by just spending time on the servers which attracts people to play it due to it being given care.
List a sample of how you plan to punish players. Be as specific to the game modes you frequent and descriptive as possible .
1. Chat Spamming - Annoying behaviour hindering players from chatting: (1) I would Warn the provocator at first. (2) If disruptive behaviour continues, I would issue a 30 minute gag, which acts as a second warning. (3) If the violation continued, I'd gag the player for 1 hour and/or kick depending on the severity. (Even more violations would just end in a longer mute or a permanent one, as I think banning a player for spamming isn't correct, due to him not hindering other players in any way).
Warn -> 30 Min gag -> 1 Hour gag -> 3 Hours gag -> 1 day gag -> 3 days gag -> 1 week gag -> 2 weeks gag -> 1 month gag -> 3 months gag -> Permanent gag
2. Offensive behaviour and provocations in the chat/voice chat - Unsupportive conduct: (1) Depending on the severity would Warn the offender or immediately issue a 30 gag mute. (2) If provocations continued, issue a 1/3 hour gag, or if racist/religious slurs used, banned for 1 day after given warning.
Warn -> 30 Min gag -> 1 Hour gag -> 3 Hours gag -> 1 day gag -> 3 days gag -> 1 week gag -> 2 weeks gag -> 1 month gag -> 3 months gag -> Permanent gag
3. Hacking/Cheating - Systematic server rule violation hindering players from playing: (1) I would pursue the suspect by identifying first if he really IS using any software to gain advantage over others and not jump to hackusations or any false conclusions, spectating him would be sufficient to determine whether he is hacking or just good at the game. (2) If suspect is NOT using any software i.e. cheating, I would explain it to all players, if suspect is confirmed to blatantly hack, I'd issue an immediate and permanent ban.
4. Inappropriate content - Disruptive conduct to some players: (1) Firstly, if player is using an inappropriate content like NSFW or any kind of disturbing images including sprays, conscientious objectors and steam avatars which show inappropriate content, I would Warn them to immediately change it or actions will be taken. (2) If player does not follow given instruction, a 30min ban will be issued, acting as a 2nd Warning, alternatively a sprayban will be issued. (3) If player does not comply, a longer ban of up to 3 days will be issued (Permanent bans should follow after violation 3 if necessary)
Warn -> 30 Min ban -> 1 Hour ban -> 3 Hours ban -> 1 day ban -> 3 days ban -> 1 week ban -> 2 weeks ban -> 1 month ban -> 3 months ban -> Permanent ban
5. Advertising Cheats or any other provacating material: Unsporting conduct: (1) Warning should come first, telling the player to stop the violation. (2) If user shows no comply, a 30 minute gag should be issued. (3) Further violations should issue a longer mute of up to 1 hour or depending on the severity a kick, or if not helped, a up to 2 days ban. (Would be more strict to cheat advertisers and perma ban immediately!)
6. Exploiting the game: Bugs violating rules and hindering other players to play due to unfair advantage. (1) Firstly, the exploiter would be warned to stop the violation and slain in order to stop the exploit. (2) If user doesn't comply with given warning he would be kicked (3) Further violations would result in a 2-3 day ban, further severities will result according to latest warnings.
7. No item begging - May be disturbing to other players: (1) I would not interfere in the first place, as maybe the 2 players are agreeing on something. (2) If player 2 clearly shows that he doesn't want to make a deal with player 1 and player 1 continues to annoy and beg, warn player 1 to stop. (3) If player 1 doesn't show compliance a 30min gag would be issued (4) Further incomplience would result in a longer gag 1h, 3h and so on. (Player will not be banned or kicked due to no behaviour hindering other users from playing the game).
Warn -> 30 Min gag -> 1 Hour gag -> 3 Hours gag -> 1 day gag -> 3 days gag -> 1 week gag -> 2 weeks gag -> 1 month gag -> 3 months gag -> Permanent gag
8. No scamming/sharking - Server rules violations, theft/fraud: (1) If clearly visible that a user tries to scam another user, a 1 month ban would be issued, if user continues scam attempts a permanent ban will occur. (2) Sharking will have same consequences as it is also tricking another player into trading their items for an unwanted price, which is considered scamming.
1 month ban -> Permanent ban
9. No other languages except English in VC - Disturbing behaviour to some players, breaking server rules: (1) Warn the offending user to voice chat in English or to not VC at all. (2) If warning not heard, a 30 minute gag issued. (3) User continues misbehaving, longer gag would be given, 1 hour, 3 hours, 1 week etc. up to permanent. (No bans/kicks because player not hindering other players gameplay in any way).
Warn -> 30 Min gag -> 1 Hour gag -> 3 Hours gag -> 1 day gag -> 3 days gag -> 1 week gag -> 2 weeks gag -> 1 month gag -> 3 months gag -> Permanent gag
10. Using steam name to bypass ban/gag/kick - Avoidance of punishment: (1) If user tries to bypass the gag/mute by using their steam name or anything else, a 1 month ban should be given. (2) Further avoidances would issue a 3 month ban, after that a perma ban.
